Description

This is the feminine version of the Era. A versatile board, freestyle oriented. It's the combination of an amazing pop coming from its reversed camber I-Rock and the Whiskey Bars, a soft flex and lightweight. The Jewel is a nose and tail presses machine. Ideal for tricks and rails. Its particular 3D-Transitional radius and its convex base gurantee an excellent behaviour of the board on pists and hard snow, great at carving, allowing you to reach the kicker at full speed.

 

What our testers say : A freestyle twin pretty tonic with a reverse camber I-Rock : reversed between the bindings and positive camber under the feet. The board's poppy and playful in a park. It will suit riders looking for something versatile and fun. The reverse camber will provide an excellent ride on powder and the underfeet camber area makes it reliable on pists. The Jewel is a good twin for intermediate to high level riders, who want a good freestyle board that woudn't prevent them from riding elsewhere than in the park.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
