Description

New for 2015, the White Out goes for a freestyle profile but has enough add-ons to handle other conditions than park ones. It boasts a Re-Flex core offering one of the best lightweight/responsiveness ratio. The poplar turns the board into a poppy park toy and delivers the natural flex feel of wood while fiberglass and carbon are strategically placed in order to distribute the energy in a more efficient way. Energy transfers happen faster and your riding gets more precise. The board features a specific camber providing stability, playfulness and performance. Indeed, two sections of camber under the feet keep reactivity at max while the rest of the board is flat which allows a better manoeuverability regardless of the terrain. A great do-it-all board for those who feel like discovering more of the mountain.

What our testers say : Freestyle oriented twin-tipped board for advanced and expert riders looking for a stiff and responsive board allowing for a precise, supportive and powerful riding. The board holds very well at high speed and delivers a great rebound from turn to turn with tons of edge control. But the great thing is that if you don't feel like charging, the board knows how to remain playful. The flat camber allows for nice freestyle sessions. We did say the board is stiff though, it's a good pick for riders with legs.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
