Description

The Electric Knoxville XL sunglasses are based on the shape of the original Electric Knoxville sunglasses, but with larger dimensions to fit wider faces and offer even more protection. They are wider, but still have clear, classic lines and an optimal fit. The frame is made of Grilamid and offers an inimitable style. Designed in California and handcrafted in Italy, the Knoxville XL is suitable for wide faces. 

From an optical standpoint, the Electric Knoxville XL is equipped with Bronze polycarbonate Category 3 lenses that provide 100% UV protection for your eyes. These lenses include synthetic melanin, a component with the ability to stop blue light, the rays of which are known to be present in LED lighting, computer screens, smartphones and tablets, but which can also be found in daylight when the sky is clear. Melanin protects the retina, improves contrast, reduces eye fatigue and prevents macular degeneration. 

The lenses here are polarised, reducing glare on flat surfaces (water, snow, ice, asphalt, etc.) by 99.9%. They offer an excellent colour perception and are scratch resistant.
