Description

On the right track to no longer be dependent on the oil industry, Picture has designed the Tanya women's snowboard jacket with 64% bio-based polyester. Of vegetable origin, this polyester does not come from petro-chemical components, but from the remains of the cane once the sugar has been extracted from it. The composition of this women's ski jacket also includes recycled polyester, which comes from the recycling of plastic bottles. While the Picture brand takes great care to limit its environmental impact, it is also active in favour of the working conditions of those who make its products, as a member of the Fair Wear Foundation.

The Picture Tanya Jkt can be worn by both skiers and snowboarders and is made from a recyclable, biosourced Dryplay 20K/15K waterproof and breathable membrane that provides excellent waterproofing and breathability. While the YKK seams and zips are waterproof, the fabric is treated with the durable PFC-free Teflon EcoElite water-repellent treatment, which also acts as a moisture barrier.

To limit the cold, the Picture Tanya Jacket combines the Coremax and Thermal Dry System linings. It features a protective stand-up collar, a wraparound hood, thumbhole sleeves and a snow skirt to keep out the powder. With its eco-friendly design, this high-end ski parka promises to keep you safe from the elements whether you're in the resort or on a freeride expedition in the heart of the mountain.
