Alpine Ski Head Monster 83

Ski sold without binding.

The Head Monster 83 might be the little brother of the Monster’s family, it still has all the abilities of a great all terrains ski and is aggressive on any snow conditions you can encounter on the mountain. After a successful first season, it is a pleasure to welcome this year again this modern all-mountain ski lightened with graphene.

What can the Head Monster 83 ski do?

This Monster 83 is snappy and has real crossing abilities. Really powerful on hard and groomed snow, you will have fun slaying big lines with accuracy at full speed on steep runs. Its Allride rocker facilitates the turn, brings liveliness and is also useful when the snow becomes softer at the bottom of the hill or in spring. The ski naturally floats in the fresh powder and invites you to go and play on the side of the slopes. On top of being a really good all terrains ski, the Monster 83 is also a great ski to improve your technique without wearing yourself out.

Who is the Head Monster 83 ski designed for?

This all-mountain will perfectly fit all intermediate to confirmed skiers looking for an easy ski, attracted by its versatility because the Monster 83 is as powerful in the powder as on the slopes.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Construction Worldcup Sandwich  :

Sandwich construction used for Worldcup skis.

  • Libra : Graphène™  :

GRAPHENE is the first crystal that is two dimensional, giving the material a unique set of properties. It is the thinnest and lightest element ever discovered by mankind. GRAPHENE is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond and 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Allride Rocker  :

The brand places highly targeted amount of rocker in each model to ensure maximum performance for all ability levels. Steering is easier for all skiers and soft snow versatility is enhanced.

  • Era 3.0  :

A masterful blend of three independently important technologies to make the ultimate allcountry skis. A new era has begun.

Rocker+Radius+Rebound=Rocker Done Right : Imagine a ski that performs for everyone, anywhere.

Head Era 3.0 is not your one-dimensional "Have a problem ? Head fix it !". It's a combination of technologies, shape and geometry.

Think rocker, think radius, think rebound. Think 3-dimensional...

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

  • Base UHM C
