Alpine Ski Scott Suw

Ski sold without binding.

Scott is launching a new ski in their women’s line, the SUW. This versatile ski looks like The Ski W’s but with a softer and less demanding flex. Added to a lower price, these put the SUW within more female skiers’ reach.

What can the Scott women’s SUW ski do?

The SUW is a pure all-mountain ski that you can use with great ease on both the groomers and the untouched. It holds well, turns fast and delivers interesting energy returns through turn exits. It may lack stability at warp speed but this is not a GS ski after all. The SUW is also highly comfortable off-piste and its tip rocker allows for an efficient floatation on powder. If you like diversity, want to have good times on all types of terrain and can’t wait to rush on the downhill, then the Scott women’s SUW is the ultimate ski for you!

Who is the Scott women’s SUW ski designed for?

The SUW is quite easy to manage and perfectly suit intermediate female skiers who want to explore every part of the mountain while perfecting their skills. Its low price point allows you to gear up without bankrupting yourself.

What are the main assets of the Scott women’s SUW ski?

Buoyancy on powder

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • Sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls and elliptic laminates  : FORGIVENESS & VERSATILITY - SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with a traditional sandwich sidewall construction. SCOTT optimized material usage to provide a construction that drastically reduces the weight of the ski. Specific braiding and different combinations of laminates guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

Rocker - Camber

  • Pro-Tip 320 mm  :

By incorporating a progressive tip height radius, SCOTT skis simply track better than the competition. SCOTT's Pro-Tip produces a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns. Pro-Tip is available in three heights 300mm (Precision On-Piste), 350mm (All-Mountain) and 375mm (Full Freeride). Tip Rocker 320 mm.

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Factory Finish  :

SCOTT skis come direct from the factory "ready to ski" with SCOTT factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

  • Pre Track  :

When developing Pre-Track, SCOTT designed skis with wide tips and/or slightly turned up tails. With Pre-Track, SCOTT skis employ a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable, reliable and versatile ski.
