The oldest of the Fischer range of skis with skins remains an essential reference. Excellent compromise between performance and ease of use it allows technical progress without asking too much on the work of the supports. Ideal for long outings.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Twin Skin Race Stiff cross-country ski?

Designed to allow the greatest number of people to enjoy the classic style with comfort and tolerance, the Twin Skin Race is nevertheless a high performance ski. This is evidenced by its Air Core Basalite structure, which is light and made of a honeycomb core on which rests a basalt fiber plate. This gives it an elasticity that promotes performance at the end of thrust in the axis. The Stiff camber is designed for powerful jigs and heavier than the Medium version. The ski is harder, but also more suitable for higher pressures, so it promotes the phases of gliding. The Twin Skin mohair skin system is made of two strips of dissociated skins that offer a good grip without penalizing the glide. Technically the ski is easy to crush, but thanks to this system of mohair skins it requires a minimum of placement which will help skiers to find good support and progress. Equipped with two-part IFP plates for mounting Turnamic bindings, compatible with Prolink, Turnamic and NNN boot standards. A particularly well-placed compromise with a high level of performance while remaining accessible.
