Description

We offer for sale snowboards with defects in appearance. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer and have no construction-manufacturing defects. The silkscreen has been scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse.

A grading according to their condition has been established: this snowboard has been classified as 3* i.e. it has barely visible defects.

The Gnu Antigravity is a freeride all-rounder that features a directional shape. Great fun to ride whatever the terrain, you'll quickly notice its good maneuverability and precision in turns.

What's in it for the GNU Antigravity snowboard?

With its directional shape, the Antigravity board is easy to ride and lets you enter turns effortlessly, while keeping control of your turns all the way. What's more, the name Antigravity wasn't chosen at random, since it's designed to give you the feeling of floating above the snow. This goal is achieved by slightly receding the binding inserts towards the tail. This gives you a stable position in powder because your center of gravity is shifted backwards, helping the nose to rise out of the snow. If you take to the slopes between freeride sessions, you'll find that Antigravity's classic camber gives you precision and power, while its Magne-Traction serrated edges give you ultra-efficient grip on hard snow. To make matters worse, its aspen/paulownia wood core is eco-responsible and FSC-certified (a label guaranteeing that the wood comes from a sustainably managed forest).

Who is the GNU Antigravity snowboard for?

This board is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders, who want to do both carving on piste and powder jumps off-piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
