Description

We are offering for sale models with cosmetic defects. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. The screen printing was scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse. A classification based on their condition has been established: This snowboard has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

The Raven Aura snowboard features a high-quality construction, with a poplar wood core reinforced with fibreglass, as well as a camber profile that offers a good balance between grip and forgiveness. It also incorporates technologies such as the wavy Shock Absorber edges and a soft flex, which provide more control and comfort when turning, while further enhancing the board's manoeuvrability and versatility.

What is the Raven Aura snowboard made for?

The Raven Aura is a freestyle snowboard, with a twin-tip shape and a Reverse Camber profile that offers secure grip on hard snow while providing more forgiveness on edge mistakes. Therefore, it's an ideal board for beginners and those looking to progress in freestyle, gaining confidence and becoming familiar with carved turns. It also offers good glide on soft snow and the light powder of the side country, while remaining easy to ride and versatile.

Who is the Raven Aura snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model for beginner to intermediate snowboarders who are looking for an easy-to-ride and versatile board with which they can enjoy their days in resorts and progress in freestyle. More experienced riders will find their match with a playful and fun model.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
