The Verdad Emperor is a versatile all-mountain freestyle board, with a twin-tip shape and a lively flex, which allows for aggressive riding and great fun across the whole resort.

What is the Verdad Emperor snowboard made for?

The Verdad Emperor is a twin-tip board, meaning it is completely symmetrical from nose to tail, making it 100% compatible with big freestyle sessions in the terrain park... but that's not all. Freestyle-oriented, yes, but this board that can do much more. Relatively stiff and therefore powerful, it is based on a traditional camber that gives it a lot of pop and very good rebound on groomers. Its wood construction reinforced with carbon and Kevlar also makes it very stable as soon as things speed up. So, we're looking at a board that likes to go fast, no matter the terrain. In powder, no problem either, but you will need the technique and the legs necessary to enjoy it.

Who is the Verdad Emperor snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model to intermediate to expert snowboarders who want a powerful and versatile all-mountain freestyle board, with which they can send it across the whole resort and shred hard on all terrains. It's up to you to set the pace!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
