Description

Binding crampons are an essential piece of gear for your safety when ski touring. They improve your grip when climbing skins are not enough because of the steepness of the slope or the snow conditions. On hardpack or icy snow, binding crampons allow you to keep progressing on your skis. However, they aren’t not an alternative to proper mountaineering crampons on ice and can’t be used on rocks.

Regarding the choice of width, make sure to pick a version wider than your skis at the waist, so that the crampons clear the sidewalls. You need a few millimetres on each side.

The 100mm Orange crampons for Dynafit bindings are easily and quickly mounted on the bindings and provide additional grip and more safety on icy snow. This model is designed to be installed on skis of less than 100 mm at the waist.
