Description

The Aerolite in its highest performance version is a pleasure to ski. This new range developed for leisure and beginner skiers shows an irreproachable and reassuring behaviour that is rather rare to find in its range and price level.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Aerolite Skate 70 cross-country ski?

What differentiates it from its little brother the Aerolite 60 is its internal structure. Its lightweight Air Core Basalite Pro shell, derived from the construction of top of the range skis, is made of honeycomb and braided basalt fibre. The result on its behaviour is conclusive, because the ski is lighter and suffers less from the effect of the pendulum at the end of the thrust when skating. To enhance this, Fischer had the good idea to equip it with the World Cup Pro sole, which is found on the Austrian brand's performance-oriented models. The rigidity provided by its structure ensures a remarkable, not to say exceptional skating grip! The ski is reassuring on compact snow and facilitates the engagement of one support on the other. It shows exemplary stability during the gliding phases, which allows you to extend the gliding phases and work on your balance with comfort. When it comes to bindings, Fischer has been working with another well-known brand for some years now to develop a system of plates called IFP. These mounting plates are exclusively compatible with Turnamic IFP bindings. This standard of bindings adapts to the most common shoe standards nowadays, namely Turnamic, NNN and Prolink. The Aerolite Skate 70 has a performance-oriented design, which makes it suitable for long-term use if it is a first-time skating ski purchase.

Who is the Fischer Aerolite Skate 70 cross-country ski for?

It is a choice to be considered for two types of skiers, recreational and occasional skiers who are looking for a comfortable and stable ski, or beginners who wish to invest in a durable and technically advanced ski. Its reassuring character combined with its lightness allows you to go through the stages of technical progress with a little more comfort. In its range it is clearly the ultimate reference, and there is absolutely no doubt that its construction is designed to last and to advance a category of skis that is generally less studied in terms of development and structure.
