Description
The SCS is one of Fischer's indivisible skis, this progressive ski is made for learning technique and offers a very satisfying skating quality as well as a healthy and stable behaviour on all types of snow.
What are the characteristics of the Fischer SCS Skate cross-country ski?
Very close to CPR technically, the SCS benefits from the same internal structure Air Core Basalite Pro. A honeycombed core with a basalt fiber veneer. This core acts directly on the behavior of the ski and gives it very good dynamic properties at the end of thrust. On the other hand, it limits the deformation of the ski in thrust and retains a maximum of energy before release of the ski, in short, it is aggressive. This facilitates the movement because the ski does not skid on compact snow and allows the skier to finish his thrust correctly. The camber is soft, which promotes the setting of the sliding phase and helps the skier to climb on its support. The sole benefits from an excellent Fischer structural work and provides a more than satisfactory glide, especially for a ski in this range. Easy and soft, the SCS Est is made to apprehend the skating technique in the best possible way. The slightly heavier weight than on the RCR comes from a small modification of the structure, particularly at the heel and on the edges, which must withstand the strain of deformation and shock inherent in learning. Like the whole Fischer range, it is equipped with IFP mounting plates, intended for Turnamic bindings, compatible with Prolink, NNN and Turnamic shoe standards.
Who is the Fischer SCS Skate cross-country ski intended for?
Skiers with a little skating experience who wish to invest in a first pair of skis will be very satisfied with this model. Tolerant and efficient in skating, it allows you to set up the movement with ease. It is a very good ski to start skating more regularly with comfort and stability.
