Which Oakley ski goggles should you choose?
The Oakley brand is renowned worldwide for the quality of its ski goggles and snowboarding gear, offering exceptional comfort, protection, and optical clarity.
High Definition Optics: Oakley's certification for superior optical clarity
All Oakley lenses, whether in sunglasses or ski goggles, are certified High Definition Optics (HDO). Oakley’s HDO certification meets or exceeds all the testing standards set by the American National Standards Institute for optical performance. Thus, Oakley lenses provide the clearest, sharpest, and most accurate vision possible.
Prizm technology: The best in visibility
Prizm lenses represent the pinnacle of Oakley's technology. By increasing contrast, enhancing contours, and highlighting texture differences, the Oakley Prizm technology greatly improves visibility and the ability to read the terrain and snow. Available in 6 different tints, you'll find a Prizm lens suited to every light condition.
Flexible and comfortable frames for men and women
All Oakley ski goggles feature a flexible O-Matter frame covered with a generous layer of foam. These frames perfectly adapt to the shape of your face and provide high comfort without pressure points.
Integrated anti-fog system for a fog-free experience
Some top-end Oakley goggles feature Oakley Inferno, an electronic anti-fog micro-system that removes moisture from the lens in seconds. The design is simple and intuitive, with one button to activate the system at the start of the day, and another button for each defogging cycle. Each cycle lasts for 3 minutes, eliminating fog and shutting off automatically.
Do I need different snowboard goggles for varying light conditions?
It seems impractical to carry a sunny weather ski goggle, a goggle for overcast conditions, and a bad weather ski goggle. If you want to enjoy the slopes in any weather, Oakley offers some models with quick and easy lens-changing systems.
Airbrake, Line Miner, Flight Deck, O Frame MX – all best-sellers!
The best-seller, Airbrake, has been updated this year with an XL version. It’s your best ally for skiing in any weather conditions. The Oakley lenses are also easily interchangeable thanks to the intuitive and efficient Switchlock system. As for the Flight Deck, it’s also available in an XM version, a medium-sized model suited to narrow faces and skiers seeking a less bulky mask than the “Oversized” versions that are currently trendy. With a reduced frame, the XM goggles are lighter and more comfortable to wear, while still providing excellent impact resistance. You’ll also find in our online store models such as the O Frame MX, A Frame 2.0, Line Miner, Fall Line, and Crowbar that will adapt to your needs, whether it’s face shape or style.
How to change the lens on Oakley snow goggles?
For example, the Oakley Line Miner ski goggles feature the Ridgelock system. With this system, the lens pops out easily by manipulating the frame, and you can insert the replacement lens onto the empty frame. The technique is easy to master, and there is no risk of damaging the lens or frame.
Another goggle, another technology: the Oakley Airbrake goggles offer the Switchlock system, which is even simpler and more intuitive. Two small levers, discreetly placed on either side of the frame, release the lens. Insert the replacement lens, lock the levers, and you’re ready to ride!
