Description

Always closer to the Speedmax, the Carbonlite never stops evolving by benefiting from the technologies from its big brother, improving at each new version and making it the high-end ski with the best value for money in Fischer’s range. This Medium version is the softest of the Carbonlite model, suitable for smaller skiers or for soft snow where its forgiving camber works wonders.  

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Carbonlite Skate Plus Medium Nordic ski?

Its internal construction is very close to the Speedmax, making it a particularly efficient ski. Featuring a honeycomb and HM carbon plate, it has the same internal characteristics. Dynamic, it is also very resistant to lateral deformation to remain stable for skating. The Cold Base Bonding gluing process of the base allows to keep the molecules aligned during manufacturing. The wax lasts longer and the ski is less sensitive to snow changes. The Plus base is meant for the most common snow conditions in Europe, it notably performs very well between 0 and -5°C with some humidity. The Medium camber, the softest in the range is particularly suited to smaller skiers who will be able to choose longer sizes for more stability. The Medium is also very efficient on soft snow, the less substantial camber sinks less and allows the ski to float better. The Hole tip offers more lightness at the front of the ski, ensuring smoother and quicker release at the end of the push.  

Useful information:

  • All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
  • All Fischer Nordic skis feature IFP plates for Turnamic bindings compatible with the NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
