This version of the X-IUM WCS S2 is dedicated to skiers who need a softer ski, because of their body weight, or because they prefer a more forgiving and less physically demanding ski in difficult sections.  

What are the characteristics of the Rossignol X-IUM Skating WCS S2 Soft IFP Nordic ski?  

With this ski you are one step closer to the most advanced in terms of skating skis, the WCS has the particularity of having a hybrid construction between the X-IUM and X-IUM Premium. The top lies on a substantial ABS sidewall which ensures lateral stiffness and therefore the ski’s satisfying behaviour on hard pack. The S2 name distinguishes the most versatile range of skating skis from Rossignol. They are suited to common compact snow conditions, for temperatures ranging from around 0 to -7°C. What makes this ski stand out is its ability to grip when skating and responsiveness under foot, you can feel it live, a real joy when you like accelerations. Its Soft camber makes it suited to lighter skiers, or skiers looking for a Rossignol ski with a softer camber, less demanding in terms of energy. It features a high-end K7000 base and a versatile cold structure, which are staples of performance. The two guiding groves help with stability when skating and during the gliding phase, while they make the ski more directive, you will be thankful to find such a handling on harder snow. The IFP plates are designed for Turnamic bindings, compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic standards.
