This ski is a true gem on hard snow and the best thing about it, is that it remains very accessible. A model that heavier skiers will enjoy using. The S/Max X-Stiff is available in two versions, including this one featuring a Shift-In mounting plate.  

What are the features of the Salomon S/Max Skate X-Stiff Prolink Shift-In Nordic ski? 

This ski was designed to meet the needs of powerful skiers. The S/Max X-Stiff is rather hard snow oriented, but has a broader program for heavier skiers. The S-Core 45 structure is innovative, made from high-density foam and 45 % recycled plastic. In addition to being more sustainable, it offers good performances. Thanks to the carbon plates, the ski is efficient in skating and offers aggressive edging. The high-end G5 universal base with an all-round structure and fluor free Swix factory wax job guarantees a great glide

This ski features Prolink Shift-In mounting plates that are designed to be used exclusively with Salomon Prolink Shift bindings, compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
