Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Capita Indoor Survival features a directional twin shape with a slight recoil of the binding inserts for more control in the turns. On the other hand, its classic camber allows you to make the most of the energy offered by the poplar and paulownia core. You get maximum bounce in turns and good stability at high speed, particularly thanks to the titanium reinforcement that runs along the centre of the board throughout its length.

What is the program of the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard?

With its directional twin shape, classic camber and powerful yet flexible construction, the Indoor Survival is a really great board for the piste and freestyle in the snowpark. It offers great grip and bounce in turns, while the small setback makes it easier to enter turns without compromising on switch. It's very precise when carving on the piste and you'll enjoy going for a boost in every turn, without burning your thighs. The medium flex provides comfort, but also playability to easily place tricks. The Indoor Survival is the right board for carving and sending on rails and kickers.

Who is the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard for?

We recommend this board to advanced snowboarders, although it is not too stiff and physical to ride, its classic camber requires a good technical mastery, without which you can easily go wrong. On the other hand, for a snowboarder who is a bit technical and who likes freestyle, it's the best!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
