Description

The Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro has a very directional shape and construction, with a big nose and progressive rocker, a classic camber throughout the centre of the board, a slightly set back foot position, and a more compact, stiffer tail with no rocker. Its flex is powerful without being too stiff, with a Panda Core construction made of poplar, paulownia and bamboo offering a great deal of energy.

What is the program of the Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro snowboard?

With the Kazu Kokubo Pro, you can enjoy the slopes as well as going off-piste in the toughest conditions. Its classic camber provides a high level of precision on hard snow and the rocker makes edge-to-edge transitions fluid. In the snow, the rocker becomes your best ally for an excellent lift, which complements the natural flotation offered by the directional shape with a thinner tail and a slightly set back foot position. To be able to carve committed lines and set the pace for your runs, the bamboo stringers and Amplitex carbon and linen reinforcements provide a high percentage of bounce in turns and cushioning on complicated snow. The board is dynamic but the flex is still accessible, you can ride it all day and won't have trouble controlling it. It will even offer you some playfulness that you can use to place butters and feel more comfortable placing tricks.

Who is the Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro snowboard for?

We recommend this model to advanced snowboarders and more who are looking for a high-performance snowboard with which they can place tricks, ride fast and also enjoy extreme snow conditions.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
