The Capita Outerspace Living features a directional twin shape, symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly setback stance, to be able to initiate turns with more ease and provide natural lift on powder. The traditional camber, paired to front and back rockers, provides both good grip on groomers and smooth glide in the backcountry or on transformed snow. The flex is accessible, not too soft nor stiff, enabling to ride easily, be playful for freestyle, without lacking responsiveness nor stability in the descents. Truly versatile, this board will allow an intermediate snowboarder to progress in the entire ski area and do some freestyle on side hits or in the terrain park.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
