Snowboard Space Metal Fantasy

The Space Metal Fantasy snowboard from Capita truly wants to bring fun to your sessions. Its reverse camber and rather soft flex make it really easy to handle. It is not challenging physically and offers flexibility at the tips to easily place presses and be comfortable on the features of the terrain park. It allows to ride side hits and shallow powder no problem, while it prevents you from catching an edge on groomed snow. Its true twin shape, perfectly symmetrical from nose to tail, enables to ride both ways. This board can be indicated for a novice, but can also allow intermediate to advanced female snowboarders to have fun in freestyle/jib in the entire resort.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
