The Venus Plus is a women’s snowboard developed by Nidecker for snowboarders looking for a stiff and responsive model to shred on groomers and freeride. A board with excellent grip for carving, as well as very good high-speed stability. 

What is the programme of the Nidecker Venus Plus snowboard? 

The Nidecker Venus Plus benefits from a Master wood core with Triax Plus fibre and Absornid technology for grip, stability and responsiveness, while dampening vibrations. The directional shape promotes precision when turning and the construction guarantees good torsional stiffness. You'll enjoy its impeccable handling to carve turns with laser precision. The N-5000 base offers amazing glide in every condition, as well as great durability, to go fast, very fast even. A board with very good edge hold to carve aggressively on freshly groomed runs, while being able to have fun on powder thanks to its good floatability.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
