Snowboard End Of The World

The Santa Cruz End Of The World features a twin-tip shape allowing to ride switch and do tricks, a punchy construction without being too stiff, as well as a camber + rocker profile offering lots of versatility. The camber provides good grip on hard snow and rebound in the turns, while the rockers allow to lift easily in powder. The float is not as natural as on a directional freeride board, but a snowboarder with good technique will manage it easily. To find more lift, you can always place the bindings further back by using the last inserts. Regarding the construction, you will benefit from the power of the wood core and the torsional stiffness offered by the triaxial fiberglass, while still retaining some flexibility to preserve your legs and be able to send tricks comfortably. Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
