Description

The Typo from Yes is as playful as the Basic and a bit more powerful. Its directional twin shape also makes it more powerful and the rocker areas are less prominent, making it more aggressive. This board takes intensity up a notch while retaining forgiveness for wild freestyle sessions!

What is the program of the Yes Typo snowboard?

Under the hood, you find camber with Underbite serrated edges for efficient grip and good agility in edge to edge transitions. Stable with dynamic pop, ollies are easy to throw and the playfulness on the tips is an invitation to send tricks. Versatile, it also offers good capabilities in powder with a directional twin shape, a setback stance and rocker at the tips to improve floatability and offer great manoeuvrability in fresh snow. The board’s symmetry adds the dose of creativity to approach spots both ways, for maximum freestyle possibilities.

Who is the Yes Typo snowboard for?

The Typo from Yes is a versatile model, suitable both for intermediate riders looking to reach the next level, or advanced snowboarders who want to freestyle on any terrain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
