Description

The Burton Process Flying V features a quality construction, with a strong yet lightweight Super Fly II wood shell, triaxial glass fiber and a bond with a Super Sap glue, which is more eco-friendly than the epoxy glue traditionally used on snowboards. It's a twin-tip snowboard, with a player flex and a camber offering great versatility.

What is the program of the Burton Process Flying V snowboard?

This version of the Process is equipped with the Flying V camber, a hybrid camber that mixes classic and reverse camber to work on all types of snow. Comfort is provided by the board/snow contact, with tolerance in the support on the piste, which is appreciated for easier entry of freestyle/jib tricks. Off-piste, the Process Flying V absorbs the irregularities from the terrain and floats without much difficulty as long as more weight is put on the rear foot. Easy to ride and versatile, it's the best way to have fun throughout the resort!

Who is the Burton Process Flying V snowboard for?

We recommend this model to an intermediate or advanced snowboarder who like soft and playful boards with which they can send tricks all over the resort!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
