The Burton Process Flying V stands out as a more accessible, playful and versatile alternative to the renowned Process. Thanks to its Flying V profile, this board combines rocker between the feet and at the tips for enhanced manoeuvrability and float, with camber underfoot ensuring responsiveness and grip on hardpack.

What is the Burton Process Flying V snowboard made for?

Featuring the hybrid W-shaped Flying V camber profile, this board delivers a forgiving ride on groomers while providing excellent float in powder and great ease in the terrain park. It’s designed for those who enjoy switching between precise carving on groomed runs, weaving through trees or finishing their day with tricks in the park. The Squeezebox construction brings energy and rebound; Frostbite edges maximise edge hold; while its wood core offers lively pop for effortless airtime. Its perfectly symmetrical twin-tip shape unlocks creative possibilities whether riding switch or regular.

Who is the Burton Process Flying V snowboard aimed at?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
