Description

A true benchmark in the Burton range, the Process is a freestyle-oriented snowboard that delivers outstanding versatility. Featuring a symmetrical twin-tip shape and balanced flex, it also benefits from a camrock profile for enhanced control, float and edge hold.

What is the Burton Process snowboard made for?

The Process boasts a perfectly balanced shape between nose and tail, with centred inserts to allow effortless switch riding. This setup enables riders to explore their favourite spots in new ways while pulling off ever more impressive tricks. Its wood core reinforced with triaxial fibreglass, combined with traditional camber, ensures dynamic flex: you get plenty of pop on ollies, excellent grip through turns and effective float in deep powder. The rocker makes turn initiation easier, adds some forgiveness and improves float in powder snow. Playful yet progressive, this board supports your freestyle progression while letting you mix things up according to your mood.

Who is the Burton Process snowboard aimed at?

Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, this freestyle-focused board offers playful performance across all types of terrain within the ski area. It's an excellent choice for rapid progression thanks to its easy handling, lively response and ability to adapt to different riding styles.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
