Description

The Process Smalls snowboard has a quality construction that is second to none when compared to adult snowboards. It's a small-scaled model of the real Burton snowboard, with a flex and camber adapted to small riders and budding snowboarders! The perfect way to progress and have fun all over the resort.

What is the program of the Burton Process Smalls snowboard?

The Process Smalls has a fiberglass reinforced wood shell, for a light, strong and fairly flexible result. This construction offers comfort in the supports and allows you to ride without pain. There is also a flat camber that provides great comfort and tolerance in contact with the snow, avoiding unnecessary edge faults while providing a secure grip. This allows you to gain confidence and quickly make your first skidded turns and then move on to learning how to cut turns. There is also a symmetrical shape inspired by freestyle snowboards, which allows the most daring and the most advanced to try switch and try their first tricks!

Who is the Burton Process Smalls snowboard for?

We generally recommend this model to young snowboarders who have already done a bit of snowboarding, but it is accessible enough enabling a child who has never ridden a snowboard before to smoothly get started. For beginning or for progression, this model will make the budding riders happy!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
