Description

The Process is a must-have model in the Burton catalogue. Its twin-tip shape, its well-balanced flex and its camber + rocker profile give it both great freestyle skills and great versatility that allows you to enjoy the entire resort.

What is the program of the Burton Process snowboard?

The Burton Process is a twin-tip snowboard, symmetrical between the nose and tail and with centred binding inserts so you can ride in both directions. This is an asset in freestyle suitable for switch and make rotations. Its triaxial fiberglass reinforced wood core offers a well-balanced flex, with a lot of ollie pop and bounce in the turns thanks to the classic camber, while keeping the tips soft. The rockers allow for more forgiveness in turns and better off-piste lift for taking advantage of the natural terrain and fresh snow. Playful, evolving and versatile, this board will allow you to vary the pleasures and progress thoroughly in freestyle.

Who is the Burton Process snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate or advanced snowboarders who are looking for a freestyle snowboard with which they can ride throughout the resort, on the slopes, on the edges of the slopes and in the snowpark.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
