Description

The Indoor Survival was manufactured in the Capita factory, the "Mothership", located in Austria, running 100% on renewable electricity and using the FSC wood and 60% bio-based glue. Returning to the Indoor Survival, its wood shell reinforced with four carbon stringers offers lots of pop for ollie and carving, while keeping the board light, playful and energy efficient.

What is the programme of the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard?

With a twin-tip shape, a construction that is both catchy and playful, as well as a classic camber, the Indoor Survival leaves no room for hesitation when it comes to its programme. This board is made to give you the grip, responsiveness and playability needed for fun and adrenaline on the slopes and in the snowpark. The classic camber allows you to bite into the snow in cut turns, the carbon reinforcements provide edge to edge rebound and allows for easy ollie pop, and finally the board's symmetry allows you to switch without problems. So, to descend the freshly groomed slopes and to send on various modules of the snowpark, it's just ideal!

Who is the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard intended for?

We recommend this model to snowboarders who ride on the piste and in the snowpark on a freestyle programme. Accessible from the intermediate level, it will accompany you throughout your progression and help you learn new tricks!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
