Description

This year again the SPRING BREAK TWINS snowboard comes back! This asymmetrical twin board is freestyle-oriented but still performs on every terrain. Plus, with a top sheet portraying Hannah Glasby, photographed by the jet-setter Andrew Kuykendall, people are going to pay attention when you’re around.

What can the Capita SPRING BREAK TWINS snowboard do?

We present you the SPRING BREAK TWINS, the good choice to have the max of fun on the mountain this winter. With a traditional underfoot camber and tip rockers you get solid grip on hardpack but also manoeuvrability and floatation on soft snow. They’ve integrated fiberglass and carbon in the board for better response and maximum pop! Not bad to send tricks off the biggest features and lay easy turns on the slopes… Plus, its Superdrive base allows a super smooth glide on and off piste. So head for the hills even when deep powder doesn’t come…

Who is the Capita SPRING BREAK TWINS snowboard desgined for?

This board is designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders who are searching for a versatile board being precise on hardpack but performant for freestyle use. A real twin-tip ideal for your sessions in the park!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
