The Jones Twin Sister is a versatile snowboard with a directional twin shape allowing to do freestyle and ride everywhere in the resort, in any condition. The high-quality construction is sustainable thanks to the use of recycled materials such as ABS sidewalls and edges or bio sourced in the case of the top sheet, glue and wax.

What is the program of the Jones Twin Sister snowboard?

The Twin Sister from Jones is a snowboard offering responsiveness and stability yet remaining comfortable to ride with a powerful wood core that offers flexibility at the tips. It ensures a good performance level in any snow condition. Grip and stability on hardpack are guaranteed by the Traction Tech 3.0 edges and classic camber under foot. For floatability and manoeuvrability in powder, you can count on the setback foot stance, rocker areas and 3D Contour Base that also improve forgiveness and smoothness when entering turns and the handling on any terrain. The symmetrical shape of the Twin Sister allows to ride easily switch and its well-balanced flex offers playfulness to send tricks. An ideal board for all-mountain, which will be efficient in the entire resort.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
