Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Escape is a very versatile model. It's slightly directional with a slightly set back foot position for optimal ride and lift in powder, but it's still efficient on piste thanks to its classic camber and can also perform switch.

What is the program of the Nidecker Escape snowboard?

The Escape is very slightly thinner on the back than on the front and the position of the inserts is moved back 30 mm towards the tail compared to the centre. This gives the Escape a nice lift in powder and also makes it easier to enter turns on any terrain. However, it remains healthy to use in switch and it maintains the playability thanks to its flex in the tips. So, we are on a board that allows you to do curves on all terrains, but also to do a little freestyle. The classic camber offers good grip on the piste while allowing you to take advantage of the pop, rebound and stability offered by the construction of the Nidecker Escape. It's a versatile board that's ideal for an all-mountain program.

Who is the Nidecker Escape snowboard for?

We recommend it to advanced snowboarders who enjoy making great turns in the resort but also like to do a little freestyle. The Escape will allow them to progress on all levels and to vary the pleasures.

What are the main qualities of the Nidecker Escape snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
