Description

The Princess is no other than the Platinum with a pink dress on. Indeed, being the women version of Nidecker's dream machine, the Princess is for demanding riders who charge hard and fast regardless of the conditions and who need a board to rely on. Featuring a Light Core incorporating 3 different woods each having its own properties (paulownia for ligthtweight, poplar for pop and beech for durability), the Princess is an all-mountain blaster that delivers power and performance. Reinforced with carbon and kevlar for added stability and boasting a hybrid camber for extra versatility, there's nothing that prevents the Princess from sitting on the throne.

 

What our testers say : Gorgeous eco-friendly board designed with freeriders in mind. The board is pretty stiff and not so forgiving with the beginners' mistakes which is why we recommend it to advanced or expert riders. Who says stiff says powerful and responsive. It works. On the hardpack the board bites hard and rails a turns without skidding until you ask for it but it truly reveals itself on powder where this snow surfing deck floats fantastically well.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
