Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Nidecker Score has a directional twin shape, which means that it is perfectly symmetrical between the front and the back, but with a slightly set back position of the feet which allows to engage the turns more easily but also to have a better lift. The flex is pretty soft and the camber + rocker profile works on all types of snow.

What is the program of the Nidecker Score snowboard?

The Nidecker Score has a sandwich construction, with a wood core and two layers of biaxial fiberglass. It's strong and light, yet flexible enough to be comfortable in the stance but also easy to freestyle on. It's an easy board to handle, especially thanks to the slightly setback foot position. Turns are easy to make, thanks to the classic camber + rocker profile that provides a secure grip on the piste while facilitating edge-to-edge transitions. The board also works very well on the edges of the slopes and in the snowpark, to get some fun once the basics on the slopes are secured.

Who is the Nidecker Score snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginners as well as to snowboarders with some basic knowledge. It will suit anyone looking for a snowboard that is easy to ride and versatile, to progress in the resort and in freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
