Description

The Nidecker Sensor Plus is a 100% twin-tip snowboard, meaning it can be ridden switch as easily as regular thanks to its perfectly symmetrical shape. It is meant for freestyle enthusiasts who ride mostly in the terrain park and on the slopes. The construction is designed to send big tricks with ease, as the wood core is paired to biaxial fiberglass to be sturdier while remaining manoeuvrable. Pop Carbon reinforcements increases the pop for bigger ollies, while Sidekick technology offers more manoeuvrability and forgiveness by lifting the edges on the nose and tail. In addition, with the versatile camber + rocker profile, you will be able to manoeuvre as you wish in the entire resort for maximum freestyle fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
