Description

The Nidecker Sensor snowboard is designed for riders seeking versatility and style in their all-mountain freestyle riding. Less stiff than its counterpart, the Sensor Plus, the Sensor offers increased playfulness and a welcome forgiveness for fun-filled sessions.

What is the Nidecker Sensor snowboard made for?

The Nidecker Sensor is a full twin-tip board, perfect for riding switch or regular. With its Camber + Rocker profile, it combines the grip and pop of a traditional camber with the playfulness and float of nose and tail rockers. This setup makes it an excellent choice for riders who love to turn every corner of the resort into a freestyle playground.

Who is the Nidecker Sensor snowboard aimed at?

This board is recommended for intermediate to advanced snowboarders who are comfortable on various terrains and are looking for equipment to take their skills to the next level while having fun on groomers and in the terrain park. It is also a more flexible and accessible model than the Sensor Plus.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
