Description

The Nidecker Venus is an intermediate to advanced level women's snowboard with a balanced construction for all-mountain freeride riding. The directional shape of this board makes it particularly pleasant to ride in powder, as it floats easily above the snow and handles with ease. It can still be ridden switch if you want to do a bit of freestyle. The camber underfoot gives you power and grip so you can hit the slopes with confidence, while the double rocker at the tips makes it easy to lift and turn. Premium Sandwich construction with Kevlar and carbon reinforced sidewalls for excellent responsiveness and shock absorption. Finally, Nidecker's Master Core combines different  wood types to achieve the ideal power-to-weight ratio and deliver remarkable riding pleasure.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
