Description

If its shape immediately reminds you of a powder snowboard with this very tapered shape and fishtail-like tail, the Nitro Squash doesn't just offer you crazy floatation and handling in the snow, it's also very easy to handle. And yes, it's not for nothing that Nitro refers to it as a "Raw Carver", that is to say a board with which you can carve on the slopes.

What is the Nitro Squash snowboard program?

Your old snowboard has been good and loyal you but you’re looking to switch to a more modern, original and high-performance board? The Squash provides the benefit of a quality construction with a very tonic wood shell and a Sintered HD Formula sole offering excellent glide, all with an outstanding manoeuvrability on all terrains. Its directional design, tapered shape and a more rigid rear flex design, provides maximum curve ability and a natural lift in deep snow. The same goes for the setback feet position, which makes it easier to place the board in turns and allows the nose to come out of fresh snow naturally. Back on the piste, you can count on the effective and secure grip offered by the classic camber. A real gem!

Who is the Nitro Squash snowboard for?

Accessible for an intermediate snowboarder who is not afraid to engage in turns, very pleasant to ride for snowboarders with a confirmed level or more, this model will delight lovers of beautiful curves on all terrains!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
