Description

Wow, wow, wow, this time, you’ll be impressed! The Yes STANDARD snowboard has been reshaped this year and returns as the ultimate Freestyle all-mountain ride!

What can the Yes STANDARD snowboard do?

For this new season, the brand Yes decided to reshape entirely its STANDARD board. A wider twin with bigger tips which makes it a real versatile freestyle board. It will give you floatation and energy. Its wood and fibreglass construction will provide you with pop, for more powerful ollies! Furthermore, with the Mid-Bite technology, you will have the reactivity of a narrow board while keeping the stability of a wide board. You should enjoy it because it will also make your turn initiations easier… Its CamRock will ensure you a very good float on powder snow, as well as a perfect edge control. So you see, once you’ve run down on the mountain, you will also be able to go onto pistes to reach the ski lifts more quickly. PS : it’s Romain de Marchi’s pro model…

Who’s the Yes STANDARD snowboard designed for?

It’s made for advanced until expert snowboarders who want a twin-tip with which they will be able to do freestyle, carving and surfing on powder snow. The STANDARD offers a lot of riding pleasure in all conditions!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
