Description

TSL Highlander Elite snowshoes are for the experienced hiker who ventures out on moderate to steep slopes. The rigid, wasp-waisted frame with rear rocker, crossbars and side grips provide a natural gait with good foot roll and excellent grip on powder, hardpack and icy slopes. They each have 2 crampons in the foot support area and a front claw. This stainless steel claw is abrasion resistant and will not rust. These TSL snowshoes are also equipped with Contact Grips. These are small serrated bars that are placed around the center openings to provide good grip in soft snow.

Highlander Elite snowshoes feature Lock Adjustment, Lateral Adjustment and Memory Lock systems that make it easy to put on your shoes by memorizing the bindings' settings according to the volume and length of your shoes. The BOA adjustment knobs allow for an even more precise fit on the forefoot. The solidarity of the snowshoes on the shoes contributes to a smoother movement and easier changes of direction.

In the heels, the TSL Highlander Elite are equipped with Easy Ascent wedges that allow the bindings to be raised to compensate for the angle of the slope when climbing. These wedges are very easy to put in place with the tip of a hiking pole. Finally, note that these TSL snowshoes have noise and shock absorbers, allowing you to hike for hours without having to endure a clatter with every step.
