The Nitro Team Split is a splitboard designed to be as versatile as possible. To achieve this, it mostly relies on its directional twin shape, but also on its well-balanced core between power and accessibility, as well as the balance provided by an aggressive classic camber and Dual Degressive sidecut providing forgiveness.  

What is the program of the Nitro Team Split snowboard?

The Nitro Team Split is ideal if you want to enjoy an all-round splitboard riding style. It allows you to ride on various terrains and in different conditions. It adapts to any type of snow, always with efficient but comfortable handling. Grip on hardpack is very good, thanks to the classic camber, it lifts easily in fresh snow thanks to the setback stance and you initiate turns effortlessly, also thanks to the setback and the dual turn radius as well. The Powerlite Core construction reinforced by glass fibre provides a punchy board, but takes into account the lightness requirements of a splitboard. You also have good performances for the ascents. Finally, the specific splitboard hardware is here, with forged aluminium clips and grooves to attach the skins.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
