The Questar 20F/-6C sleeping bag: a true benchmark model with numerous positive reviews

This iconic model is available in 3 versions to meet the needs of all possible camping situations. You will find the 3 following models in the Thermarest Questar range.

  • Questar 32F/0C: comfort temperature 0°C for a weight of 850 g in regular
  • Questar 20F/-6C: comfort temperature -6°C for a weight of 990 g in regular
  • Questar 0F/-18C: comfort temperature -18°C for a weight of 1210 g in regular

Needless to say you will not get cold with such insulation. Their secret? A high-end 650 cuin RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified down fill with hydrophobic treatment, zonal insulation and very well-designed baffles to optimise the fill power, and let’s not forget a dedicated insulation for the foot box.

This Therm-A-Rest sleeping bag is also ultra-comfortable thanks to its specific shape (the W.A.R.M. fit) which offers generous space inside, to sleep in any position you like. You will also find practical zips, the SynergyLink system to connect the bag to a mat for maximal efficiency and to prevent you from slipping outside the sleeping bag during the night. This bag also features a hood with drawcord to prevent heat loss around the head. With the Therm-A-Rest Questar you can even sleep under the stars as the outer fabric benefits from a PFC free water repellent finish.

To sum it up, if you are looking for a lightweight 3 season sleeping bag, pick the Questar 32F/0C, if you prefer a warmer and ultra-versatile 3 season, you can trust the Questar 20F/-6C, and if you are into serious adventures, get the heavy stuff with the Questar 0F/-18C. The latter allows to sleep in an igloo or in high-altitude in winter in a camping tent.
