Description

The Premium+ S2 version on steroids is made for powerful skiers. With a stiffness tuned for heavier body types, no need to state that this model kills it on compact snow!  

What are the characteristics of the Rossignol X-IUM Skating Premium+ S2 Stiff IFP Nordic ski?

When it comes to structure and construction, this ski is totally the same as the other S2, Nomex core, carbon plate, Okoume sidewalls, everything is the same. However, if you take a closer look at flexibility, you can see a clear difference with the Medium or Soft versions. Stiffer and more demanding, it is also more dynamic. Skiing it on hard pack is a unique feel if you have the body type to handle it, the acceleration out of a push is insane. In addition, with the new lighter external structure, tip release is more homogenous. The ski is more balanced and you can feel more dynamism. the long camber is more suitable for the compact snow you often find on morning sessions. The K7000 base paired to a versatile cold structure glides in common conditions (around 0 to -7°C). Featuring IFP mounting plates suitable for Turnamic bindings to be compatible with 3 boot standards (NNN, Prolink and Turnamic).
