With the RC5 Fischer makes sure to meet all the expectations of recreational skiers. A boot designed and developed with the intention of being as similar as possible to the performance models, while retaining the characteristics of its category of use. 

What are the characteristics of the Fischer RC5 Skate? 

If we compare it to the RC3 model, which is just below in the range, we can only notice that its fit is sportier and that the gaiter rises higher on the ankle. The Polymer cuff is also more thoroughly processed and has a wider reinforcement to maximise comfort and avoid hard points and chafing on the tendons above the malleoli. The injected frame around the heel completes the process of stabilising the ankle, which allows for good work on lateral imbalance when skating. The toe cap is equipped with the Fischer Triple F waterproof and windproof membrane, it insulates the feet with efficiency. In terms of comfort, Fischer has opted for a generous fit because the most important thing before aiming for precision is to feel good in your shoes, without this, it is impossible to know how to push and position yourself correctly. Equipped with a Fischer Speed Lock lacing system, the shoe can be put on quickly and the fit is very precise. The thin Turnamic sole draws the foot closer to the ski for better feel and more direct energy transfer. These boots are compatible with the Turnamic, NNN and Prolink binding standards.
