Description

The classic Nordic ski boot from Rossignol has evolved a lot in terms of visual and technical aspects when it comes to the exterior. A new construction with an innovative closure system.  

What are the characteristics of the Rossignol X-IUM Carbon Premium+ Classic Nordic ski boot?

The base of the boot is very similar to the skating model, the reason being that the X-IUM Carbon Premium+ Classic can be turned into a Skiathlon boot by adding a cuff. However, technically, this is a very nice proper classic boot. A moulded carbon outsole with reinforcements under the ankle bones for the best support possible. Soft at the front, this sole lets your foot roll on alternating strides, while offering good dynamism at the end of pushes. The major change on this X-IUM Premium+ is the gaiter, higher, it also features a new Spiral Concept closure system that goes around the ankle, far from being a mere cosmetic update, this construction enables a more homogenous ankle flexion, while ensuring more protection in bad weather. The liner that was successful on the previous versions remains the same, a very comfortable Medium width at the forefoot, very appreciated for a model at this level. The Speedlace Lock system provides a precise and homogenous adjustment of the liner. This unique closure system ensures impressive freedom of movement in the flexion.
