Description
The Blizzard Rustler 10 is a new freeride model. It bridges the gap between freeride and backcountry skis. Its twin-tip shape and very efficient dual-rocker profile allows for a centered stance and a more comfortable position. The 102mm-waist (in180cm) delivers a natural buoyancy in the deep thanks to a large contact surface but it remains versatile enough to ride elsewhere. This is actually the main difference between the Rustler 11 and the Rustler 10, the latter being easier to manage and less demanding.
What can the Blizzard Rustler 10 freeride ski do?
This year, this model is one of our favourites. We enjoyed riding it through the mountain and tested on all terrains. Our morning runs on groomers were meant to be just a warmup but we actually skied there longer than we thought. The ski felt lively and grippy and super fun to play around. We managed to carve a few turns and had a lot of stability. But the mission was to get off the beaten tracks and test the beast off piste. We weren’t disappointed. Floaty, loose and surfy, the ski moved through the ungroomed with elegance and yet felt incredibly powerful. A nice mix of performance that we truly enjoyed.
Who’s the Blizzard Rustler 10 freeride ski designed for?
It’s made for intermediate up to advanced skiers who want the ultimate freeride ski. With this model, skiing has never been so fun! If you are looking for thrills, just pick it up next winter.
