The Austrian brand Blizzard was founded by Toni Arnsteiner in 1953 in Mittersill, his first pair of skis however dates back from eight years earlier when he created his own skis in his father’s carpentry workshop. In 1980, the Blizzard brand revolutionized the ski world with its Thermo model that could adapt to the temperature. Three years later, the famous Quattro ski using the same technology was born. Over the years, the brand collected podiums, titles and championships. In 1996, it caught the eye of Scott who bought the brand and in 2006, it was Tecnica’s turn. The same year, the IQ technology came to light with a ski and binding in perfect harmony. In 2010, Blizzard was awarded the ISPO prize for the R-Power FS IQ, and the following year, same story with the Flip Core Rocker! Nowadays, the Brahma, Bonafide, Zero-G and Blackpearl models are the brand’s bestsellers. Come discover our skis with bindings and touring ski set selection in our shop!
