Description

The Process is one of the unavoidable references in the Burton catalogue. Appreciated for its versatility as well as for its well-balanced performance level, it also appeals to all due to its manufacturing quality, with a fairly light Super Fly II wood shell, reinforced with triaxial glass fibre, glued with an ecological Super Sap glue and equipped with a sintered sole that provides good glide quality.

What is the Burton Process snowboard program?

Like most freestyle snowboards, the Burton Process has a twin-tip shape that allows you to switch without any problem. Still in the freestyle DNA, it also offers a fairly flexible flex, which allows you to easily pop ollies, play with the spatulas to make presses and ride without pain. Nevertheless, it remains a dynamic board with which you can put some rhythm in the descents if you want to. The camber is a CamRock profile, with a classic camber in the center of the board for pop and grip, while the rockers on the spatulas provide fluid transitions between turns and a better powder exit. It's the perfect board for freestyle and cool runs all.

Who is the Burton Process snowboard for?

Flexible and accessible enough for an intermediate snowboarder who is motivated to progress, this model will also appeal to more advanced snowboarders looking for a board they can use for freestyle throughout the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
