The Capita Neo Slasher is a splitboard with a freeride oriented shape, designed to offer good performances in various conditions, including of course in powder. The construction is lightweight and powerful thanks to the Ascent 2 Split Core reinforced by the Amplitex Amplifiers technology and the double layer of triaxial fiberglass.

What is the program of the Capita Neo Slasher snowboard?

The Capita Neo Slasher has a very alpine shape, with rocker at the nose, camber between the inserts, a setback foot position to promote float and facilitate turn initiation and a tail with less rocker to enhance grip and control at the back. This configuration offers the best balance to perform in any snow condition. In addition, the lightness, power and dampening offered by the high-end construction allow to charge hard in the descents and be comfortable during the ascents. Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
